That’s a key reason the Maldives is a snorkeler’s dream – and one of the best destinations in the world to get under the sea. Experts say the Maldives’ extensive and largely intact reefs comprise one of the most complex reef systems in the world. On this expedition:
• Snorkel in waters with 200 types of coral and 2,000 known fish species, from the smallest clownfish to big sharks.
When and where:
We will be leaving from Male or Hulhumale morning and afternoon and we will be heading to the best reefs around.
Banana reef, Kaashi faru and coral garden. These are the highlighted reefs for snorkeling around here.

The islands of Maldives appear in-between the trading route of the Indian Ocean. Thus settlers and visitors from neigh burring regions and around the world have come in contact with the islands for as long as history has been recorded.
The islands are protected by thousands of reefs that need to be alive for this unique archipelago to exist in future. The corals on our reefs need its countless inhabitants to feed on them for the corals to re-grow.
