Day01 Arrival Kunming
Arrive in kunming by flight in the afternoon. Our guide and staffs will welcome the group at the exit of immigration & customs in arrival hall, then transfer by deluxe private coach with skilled English-speaking guide to the hotel for check-in. This evening, enjoy the welcoming dinner with famous Yunnan local flavors while enjoying minority show in Yunnan People Family Restaurant, overnight stay at Hotel.
Day02 Kunming-Stone forest-Kunming
Pick up service by your tour guide and driver at 7:30-8:00AM. Drive to Stone Forest, about 1.5 hours on the way tour to visit the amazing Stone Forest in Lunan county to explore “The Wonder under the Heaven”. The scenic spot covers an area of 350sq.km. and is consisted of geologic wonders of Karst landform which is the highest single-body structures of the world. Then strolling at the Bird & Flower’s Market sightseeing the folk custom of this ancient city . drop off to hotel, overnight stay at Hotel.
Day03 Kunming-Dongchuan
Our guide meet you from your hotel in the early morning, drive 200km to Dongchuan which takes 4 hours. Have lunch, then shoot the red soil. Stay tonight in Dongchuan.
Dongchuan red soil: At Yunnan highland plateau there have a gorgeous colorful land, seven colors like rainbow, Dongchuan Red soil, a rural place in the Wumeng Mountainous area, about 180km north of Kunming, becomes very famous among Chinese photographers for its red soil. In the mid 1990s, the first Chinese photographers came to discover the Wumeng’s scenery. The first came and scooped award-winning photos, but kept their location a closely guarded secret. But slowly the details leaked and now more and more photographers are making their arduous trip into the arid mountains. The brilliant red soil, the yellow buckwheat’s and the dramatic skies make the region around Dongchuan a paradise for photographers, overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 04 Dongchuan-Kunming
Continue shooting the red soil when sunrise. This is the most wonderful landscape for photographers.. After lunch, transfer back to Kunming, overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 05 Kunming Depart
After breakfast, transfer to visit to the Grand View Pavilion Park. Then make a rove along downtown’s streets by the private vehicle to enjoy the view of the city and visit the Symbol Building of Kunming–Golden Horse & Green Phoenix Torii, and the culture streets of the old city with the East and West Pagodas in downtown. Departure hotel to airport to catch the next destination flight.
